Whitening is a process where the tooth discolouration is 'whitened' to a lighter shade. It removes the staining agent through chemical means. It is a safe procedure when carried out under professional supervision.
The Zoom! whitening system makes your teeth dramatically whiter in less than an hour. The procedure is simple: it begins with a short preparation period during which your lips and gums are covered, leaving only your teeth exposed. Then we apply whitening gel, which when used with a specially designed light, activates the gel and allows it to gently penetrate the teeth.

The Zoom! light and gel work together to break up stains and discolouration. With proper care your smile will sparkle for years.

This form of tooth whitening uses special trays that are custom made for your teeth. First, we check the health of your teeth and gums to determine whether you are suitable for the treatment. Then we clean your teeth professionally, take an impression of your upper and lower teeth and send these to the lab. The lab then makes bespoke bleaching trays, which are packaged together in a kit with an exclusive formula of peroxide teeth whitening gel selected by Dr Papadopoulos. For the most sparkling results, we recommend that you wear these trays every night for up to three weeks.

Veneers are thin, custom-made shells crafted of tooth-coloured materials designed to cover the front side of teeth to improve the overall appearance of teeth. They are made of either thin plastic resin or porcelain and can be placed to:

- correct poorly formed or mildly mal-positioned teeth
- close gaps between teeth
- mask internal stains
- restore partially broken-down teeth

Tooth preparation is minimal and confined to the enamel structure. The veneer is bonded to the tooth structure with tooth-coloured resin cement. Several visits are necessary to complete treatment.
Full smile reconstruction
A full smile reconstruction was necessary due to the advanced wear of the teeth as a result of tooth grinding. After initial orthodontic treatment, the upper teeth were restored with minimal preparation veneers and crowns, to restore aesthetics and function.
Reconstruction with minimally invasive veneers
The appearance of discoloured and disproportionately sized teeth was making this patient unhappy. Their smile was reconstructed through home teeth whitening and four non-invasive porcelain veneers. This helped the patient avoid lengthy orthodontic treatment and was completely non-invasive.
